Has something changed in your relationship with your child since migrating?

Sometimes something since you moved…
and it is not always easy to put into words.

Migration is a profound process of change.
My goal is to help this new beginning not become an unbridgeable distance between you.

Support groups for adolescents and parents

  • Groups for migrant adolescents: A space where they do not have to feel alone and can begin putting their experience into words.

  • Groups for parents: A space to think about what is happening and find new ways of staying connected without communication shutting down.

So your child does not have to go through this alone — and neither do you.

How groups work?

Has something changed since migration?

This space is for adolescents and families navigating experiences like these:

Your child seems more irritable, withdrawn, or spends more time isolated in their room than before. You feel there is a distance or difficulty communicating that was not there before. You notice a sense of nostalgia or rejection toward the new environment or language. Your child feels like they do not fully belong in the new country — or in the previous one anymore. You feel like you are carrying the weight of the family’s adaptation on your own.

A space for parents too

Migration with children often means holding many things together.Sometimes with less support,
sometimes with uncertainty,
sometimes without knowing how to help.
This space is meant to help think through what is happening and find other ways of accompanying the process.
